Boat Launches

The City of Oshkosh has 6 boat launches for public use. You can pay a daily fee of $7 for launching or purchase a boat launch sticker for annual or multi-year (3 years) use. NEW in 2024 you can only purchase at the Oshkosh Parks Department, 805 Witzel Avenue, online, or the electronic pay stations located at every launch site in the City.

Where can you purchase boat launch permits to use at the City of Oshkosh boat launch sites?

* Place your receipt on the driver’s side windshield. If you purchase a season-long permit at the electronic pay station bring the receipt to the Parks Department Offices to receive a sticker within 14 days of purchase. Please keep your receipt.

A daily or annual pass is required for any boat or motorized watercraft that is trailered. For Further info please refer to Municipal Code Chapter 19-7 or contact the Parks Department at (920) 236-5080.

Mooring / Kayak & Canoe Storage

The Miller's Bay Mooring Program is located in Menominee Park in Miller's Bay and is for sailboats only. Starting in 2021, you are also able to store kayaks and canoes seasonally on the dinghy racks as well. You can either utilize the boat moor space, on land storage, the catamaran/dinghy storage or any combination of these. The season runs for the typical navigation season and is open to new applicants in the middle of February. Prior applicants have first option to utilize their same space as previous years in advance of the middle of February.
