Internship Opportunities
Do you have an internship you need to complete in order to graduate? The City of Oshkosh may be able to help you meet the requirements of an internship required by your educational institution.
In order to qualify as an intern, you must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary program and must receive school credit for the successful completion of the services performed for the City of Oshkosh.
The City of Oshkosh requires that the internship requirements be clearly documented so a determination can be made whether or not the duties available through the City meet the internship requirements. The information the City of Oshkosh needs include the number of hours required by the internship, the duties the internship requires the student to perform, the number of credits the student will receive, the start and end date of the internship, and what feedback or evaluation will be required by the City of Oshkosh. The City of Oshkosh does not create internships, they simply help students meet internship requirements determined by the school. In some cases, a seasonal job may offer all of the duties needed to meet the requirements of your internship. All you need to do is have your internship requirements ready, call the appropriate contact person, and discuss your internship with them.
