For those who are presently enrolled in ACH Auto Pay, will the conversion to InvoiceCloud be automatic or will it require action by the customer?

Customers who currently use ACH Auto Pay will not need to take any action—your automatic payments will continue as usual. However, if you wish to take advantage of new features (like online account access or updated payment methods), you may choose to register for an Invoice Cloud account.

What is an E-Check, and how can I use it? Is there a fee for it?

An E-Check is an electronic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. To pay by E-Check, simply enter your routing and account numbers.

There is no fee to pay by E-Check for real estate tax payments and Utility Bills on AutoPay. All other E-Check payments incur a $1.95 fee per transaction.

Which payments incur a fee for paying online, and which ones do not?

There is no fee to create an online account, sign up for reminders, go paperless, or use ACH Auto Pay.

Can multiple bills or invoices be paid at once?

Yes. InvoiceCloud allows residents to add multiple bills to their cart and pay them together.

Can I make payments for multiple rental properties?

Yes. If you manage or own multiple rental properties, you can pay taxes for all of your parcels in one session. Simply search for each parcel, add it to your cart, and complete a single combined payment.

What is Pay by Text, and how is it different from other online payment methods?

Pay by Text is a convenient way to pay your bill by text message. When signed up for Pay by Text, bill notifications will be sent by text message (this is in addition to email notifications) and you will then have the option to pay via text message with your default payment method by simply replying. You may enroll in Pay by Text when making an online payment or by accessing your account and selecting the Pay by Text option. A confirmation will be sent to complete your enrollment.

Do I need to register with InvoiceCloud to make a single payment?

No, registration is not required for One Time Payments. However, by registering you’ll be able to view prior history, set up automatic payments and store payment information, if desired.

How will I know that my InvoiceCloud payment has been accepted?

After you submit your payment, you will see a payment confirmation screen. It will contain your payment confirmation message. It will show an approved number for credit cards or a processed number for electronic check. You will also receive a confirmation email after your transaction is submitted. The email will include your account number, invoice number, amount paid and confirmation message. If your electronic check does not pass through the bank, you will receive an email informing you of the rejected payment.

Can I use more than one payment method per transaction?

Yes, if partial payments are accepted, you may use one payment method for part of the transaction and another payment method for other parts of the transaction.

How long does it take for online payments to process?

Credit card transactions are authorized immediately and typically take 48 hours to settle. ACH transactions typically take 48 – 72 hours to settle.

Can I tell if my payment has been posted?

Yes, simply login to your InvoiceCloud account and select View paid or closed invoices.

How long will my payment history be maintained?

24 months is the standard retention period.

Can I still pay my bills in-person at City Hall?

Yes. All in-person and drop-box payment methods will continue to be available. Invoice Cloud simply adds more convenient online and mobile payment choices.

Will the Online Bill Pay webpage on the City's website still be able to be used?

Yes. The Online Bill Pay page will remain active. Once InvoiceCloud is live, the link will automatically direct you to the new payment portal. The payment portal can also be accessed directly at www.invoicecloud.com/CityofOshkoshWI(external)
