Opening Day

Opening Day of the NEW Menominee Park Train will be May 23, 2026

Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Open Saturdays & Sundays Only

The train will load and unload in the front of the Menominee Park Zoo. Tickets or passes can be purchased in the Lakefly Café.

Cost: $3.00 or you can purchase a Family Punch Pass with 10 rides for $25.00

The Wattman Express train will be a great addition to Menominee Park

Opening Day Festivities

  • Visit with Mascot Pointer from 11 a.m. - noon from the Oshkosh Herd.
  • Food truck.
  • Face Painting with Whimbubble from 10 a.m. - noon.
  • Free samples from Parker John's BBQ and Pizza from 11 - 1 p.m.
  • Red Robin will be there with "Red" handing out balloons.
