What should I do on my collection day?

  • Roll the cart to the curb by 5:00 am on your scheduled collection day.
  • Place the cart within one (1) foot of the curb or edge of pavement.
  • Place the cart three (3) feet away from trees, mailboxes, other carts, or obstructions.
  • Make sure the arrows on the cart are facing the street.
  • Make sure the lid is fully closed.
  • Do not set materials outside the cart, except for prepaid, special paid pickups.
  • Do not park a vehicle on the street in front of the cart; and do not place the carts behind cars parked on the street.
  • Do not set carts on top of a snow bank. Carts must be at ground level.
