New “Public Meeting Calendar” available on city website

The city of Oshkosh has launched a new “Public Meeting Calendar” on its website. This enhancement to the website displays all public meetings on a single calendar, and is able to be viewed in a monthly or weekly viewing format. The calendar is also formatted for viewing on mobile devices.

“This new enhancement to our city’s website will offer website visitors a streamlined way to view public meeting details, including agendas and a video link for meetings that have been televised,” said Assistant City Manager & Director of Administrative Services, John Fitzpatrick. “Oshkosh is always seeking opportunities to increase public participation in local government, and this initiative works toward fulfilling that goal.”

The meetings that will be listed in the calendar include a range of boards, committees and commissions, as well as workshop meetings, bid openings and public information meetings. Meeting minutes will be linked when published, and a Zoom link will be posted if virtual participation is available. The calendar also offers an option to subscribe to public meeting notices, sent directly to a subscriber’s email inbox.
