Temporary Road Closure on Jefferson Street for Water Service Replacement

The city of Oshkosh's Water Distribution Division will be conducting a one-day temporary road closure on Jefferson Street between September 30, 2025 and October 2, 2025. This closure is essential for replacing a public side water service on Jefferson Street between E Irving Avenue and E Parkway Avenue, ensuring the safety and quality of the city's water infrastructure.

• Planned Duration: 1 day

The closure is expected to last only one day, but the city of Oshkosh has planned for an extended completion date of October 2, 2025. This extension accounts for potential rescheduling due to emergency repairs or adverse weather conditions. To accommodate this crucial work and to ensure the safety of our workers and all residents, traffic on this block of Jefferson Street will be two-way on both sides of the road closure. However, please be mindful of construction signs and any instructions provided by on-site personnel to navigate safely around the affected area. Access to driveways will be maintained, however, please allow extra time in the event equipment needs to move.
