4th of July celebration returns to Menominee Park Fireworks will be launched from Ames Point
The city of Oshkosh is excited to host its annual 4th of July celebration at Menominee Park. This highly anticipated event will take place on July 4, 2025, bringing the community together for an unforgettable day of family, fun, food, and fireworks.
This year, the Festival Foods Fireworks Show will be launched from a new location: Ames Point, located at the far north end of the park. This change from the previous year's launch site at Monkey Island offers a new perspective for attendees. The optimal viewing area for the Festival Foods Fireworks Show will be the lawn to the north of the ball diamonds along Menominee Drive, located directly across from Ames Point. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Rain date for the Festival Foods Fireworks Show is Saturday, July 5th.
In addition to the fireworks, guests can enjoy a Food Truck Rally from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. 20 food trucks will be located along Siewert Trail near Irving Avenue and along the Menominee Park walking trail, north of the Millers Bay Parking Lot. Additionally, the Reetz Ball Diamond concessions will be open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering more dining options for guests.
Visitors are also welcome to take advantage of the amenities in Menominee Park. The Children’s Amusement Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Menominee Park Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The city of Oshkosh looks forward to honoring our nation's independence as a community. For more information about the Festival Foods Fireworks Show and Oshkosh’s 4th of July celebration, contact the Oshkosh Parks Department at (920) 236-5080.
