Jacob Amos

Jacob Amos is a community leader, loan officer, and a public servant committed to strengthening Oshkosh through transparency, accessibility, and equity. His work is rooted in the belief that local government should be responsive, fiscally, responsible, and centered on the people it serves.

Jacob brings an engaged leadership experience to his public service. He is currently on Oshkosh’s Long Range Finance Committee, served as an adjunct board member for the Oshkosh Area United Way And participated in the leadership Oshkosh class of 2025. Jacob strongly believes in collaborating with community leaders and organizations focused on shaping the city’s future.

A strong believer in lifelong learning, Jacob has earned multiple degrees, and was awarded acceptance to Howard University. And achievement that reflects his dedication to education, discipline, and excellence.

Jacob continues his path of service through his appointment to the Oshkosh City Council in his campaign to earn the trust of voters for the spring 2026 election.

He is focused on advocating for responsible, budgeting, transparent decision-making, and public services that meet real community needs.

Whether he's helping individuals navigate important financial decisions, or work to improve systems at a local level, Jacob leads with integrity, purpose, and a genuine belief that strong communities are built through accountability, collaboration, and meaningful engagement.
