Paul is a life-long resident of Oshkosh and has a wife and two children. He’s obtained an Associate’s Degree in Marketing from Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Marian College in Fond du Lac and currently holds a Wisconsin Real Estate License and works at Real Marketing Real Estate in Oshkosh.
Civic activities include serving on the Oshkosh Common Council from 2000-2011, serving as Mayor of the City of Oshkosh from 2009-2011 and now being re-elected Council Member April of 2023. “Serving the residents of Oshkosh is truly the most rewarding position I’ve ever held.” Paul was a member of the Planning Committee for the Pollock Community Water Park. The Oshkosh Committee on Aging awarded Paul the 2004 Verl Franz Distinguished Leadership Award. Paul is also a past Ambassador for the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce.
In his spare time Paul likes to collect historical items from Oshkosh’s past, especially from old Oshkosh breweries.
