Advisory Group Meeting Notes - 5-15-18
City staff led introductions and provided background from the previous meeting on April 17th 2018. Staff reviewed the vision statement with the group and allowed the group to offer edits and ideas. Staff agreed to “wordsmith” the vision statement once more and will allow the group to review it at the June meeting. After the vision statement review, the group moved on to the SWOT Analysis worksheet. Staff explained what the SWOT Analysis worksheet was intended to achieve. Several group members shared their ideas.
Next, staff explained the land use handout that contained a variety of land use terms and definitions that could be appropriate for the Sawdust District. Staff explained that they will rely heavily on group input for guidance on land use in the district. Staff explained that they would revise the land use table and vision statement at the next meeting on June 19, 2018.
