Come celebrate the season opening of the zoo and World Otter day! You won’t want to miss the hustle and bustle of this fun-filled day! World Otter Day was rooted in 2009 with Otterly Mad Week. In 2014 it evolved into Otter Awareness Day and finally landed at World Otter Day in 2016. The goal of this day is to spread awareness about the threats otters face in the wild. Special events will include keeper chats, otter trivia, and kids crafts. Kids can even pretend to be otters at our sensory table!
