National Zookeeper Week

National zookeeper week is always the third week in July and aims to connect the public with animal care professionals in the name of raising awareness of what animal care professionals do year-round, recognizing their hard work, conservation efforts, and passion. Stop by the zoo this week to thank one of our zoo specialists for taking great care of the animals!
Anyone interested in becoming a zookeeper? There’s no better time to come chat with a keeper and learn about what it takes to care for the zoo and its inhabitants. Throughout the week different species will be shining bright with keeper chats and meet-n-greets and tours will be offered daily.
