How to calculate your bill

Example:

Water consumption is 1,000 cubic feet. (Note the City bills in 100 cubic foot increments)
Water meter size is either 5/8” or 3/4” (represents most residential accounts)
Water volume charge = 10 x $6.10 = $61.00
Water fixed charge = $9.94
Total monthly water bill charge = $70.94

Sewer consumption is 1,000 cubic feet (It is assumed that sewer use is the same as water use)
Sewer volume charge = 10 x $6.62 = $66.20
Fixed sewer charge = $12.15
Total monthly sewer bill charge = $78.35

Public fire protection quarterly charge = $4.07
Storm water for average residential account = $19.81

Total monthly bill for water, sewer, fire protection, and storm water = $173.17
