Sponsorships, Donations, and Estate and Planned Gifts
There are multiple methods of financially supporting the Oshkosh Seniors Center. The Center relies heavily on donations and sponsorships to continue making an impact on the 3,000 older adults that attend programs and use the Center’s services. The Oshkosh Seniors receive 50% of their operating budget from tax levy dollars from the City of Oshkosh. The remaining budget is covered through donations, grants, and fees. The Center has had a 35-year partnership with the Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center, a tax-exempt charitable organization with 501C3 status. The Friends are community volunteers dedicated to raising funds for the Oshkosh Seniors Center. Currently, the funding provided by the Friends accounts for over 10% of the operating budget at the Center. Their main fundraising activities consist of two Food Truck Fridays in June and August and an appeal letter sent to donors in the fall.

In addition to donations, the Center offers support sponsorships to community organizations and businesses interested in building relationships with the Senior Center participants. Donations
Everyone is invited to become a “Friend” of the Oshkosh Seniors Center. Friends of all ages are welcome from the surrounding area and outside the state of Wisconsin. Together we can make a difference. Make a minimum donation of $25 and receive “The Current”, the Oshkosh Seniors Center monthly newsletter mailed to your home.
All past FOSC supporters should have received the Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center, Inc. Annual Appeal letter by now. If you did not receive a letter and are interested in being included on future mailings please send an email request to the Friends email address - Friendsofosc1986@gmail.com

Estate and Planned Gifts
A gift in your will is a gift for the Center's future. If you are passionate about our mission to enhance the lives of older adults in our community, this could be the most impactful gift you make. It's an opportunity to support the cause that is important to you. Contact your professional advisor and share your intentions.
