Welcome to the City of Oshkosh’s Transportation Department web page. The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of people, services and goods. It is the mission of the Transportation Department to reduce traffic delays, accidents and fuel consumption through the best use of existing transportation facilities. The Transportation Department consists of three divisions: transit, electrical and sign. The offices are located at 926 Dempsey Trail, Oshkosh, WI 54902. The Transit Division, (GO Transit) is dedicated to providing safe, low-cost public transportation that enhances the mobility of its citizens and insures access to the varied resources with the community

The Electrical Division is responsible for traffic signals and general electrical work on city-owned properties.

The Sign Division is responsible for pavement markings and street signage.
