City Storm Water Management Plan
What is a SWMP?
A Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) is an engineered plan that is designed to: minimize the amount of disturbed soil, control/minimize the amount of erosion that is to occur, reduce the runoff discharge rate, and reduce pollutant loads that are discharged from the system. These engineered plans are utilized for many sites throughout the United States and are guidelines to prevent the pollution of water bodies.
