Child Safety Seat Guidelines

All children should ride in the back seat (if there is one) until they are 13 years old.

Child is less than 2 years old or is over the height and/or weight requirements for the seat.

Rear-facing infant or convertible seat

Child is more than 2 years old (or is over the height and/or weight requirements of their rear-facing seat) but less than 4 years old.

Forward-facing child safety seat

Child is at least 4 but less than 8 years old, weighs between 40 and 80 lbs, and is shorter than 4'9".
