WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertised for bids for
chemicals for the Oshkosh Water Treatment and Wastewater Plants for 1984,
and
WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabulation of bids, it appears that the
following are the lowest and most advantageous bids:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the said bid is hereby accepted and the proper City officials
are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an appropriate agreement
for the purpose of same, all according to plans, specifications, and bid on
file. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from:
Account No. 815-450 - Water Utility - Inventory - Chemicals
Account No. 940-413 - Sewer Utility, Chemicals
Motion made by Council Member Kutchera, seconded by Council Member
Chapin to amend the resolution to chan�e the award of the liquid
chlorine supplier frcm Jones Chemicals, Inc. to Hydrite Chemical
Co. CARRIED: Ayes (6) Teichmiller, Chapin, Hulsebosch, Kutchera,
Mather, Pung; Noes (1) Propp.
