Mini-Storm Sewer/Storm Lateral Program Lateral Inlet
An underground 6” storm lateral will be installed from the storm sewer main in the road to
the back of sidewalk (private property line).
For a $400 assessment (or current assessment rate for the year the work is completed), the 6”
storm lateral will be capped at the property line for future connection.Any private
connections to this lateral shall be completed by a certified plumber.
For a $750 assessment (or current assessment rate for the year the work is completed),a
lateral inlet will be connected to the end of the 6” lateral. The photos can be seen below of
what the lateral inlet looks like. The opening at the bottom is where the 6”lateral is
connected. The open grate or top portion will be at the ground surface to collect water.
