Subject: Sawyer Creek Channel Improvements

Dear Property Owner or Resident:
The City of Oshkosh has scheduled a public information meeting to discuss the upcoming channel improvements to
Sawyer Creek between North Koeller Street and the Fox River. The meeting will be held as follows:
Wednesday, October 26, 2011
5:30 to 7 P.M .-OPEN HOUSE
Brief Presentation-6 P.M.
Oshkosh West High School, Room O
375 North Eagle Street
Oshkosh, Wisconsin
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on the proposed
Sawyer Creek channel improvements and obtain input that will assist in
further development and refinement of the proposed channel
improvements. The meeting will follow an informal, open house format.
A brief presentation will be given at 6 P.M. Employees from the City of
Oshkosh and engineers from Strand Associates, Inc.® will be available to
discuss the proposed project and address any questions or concerns.
The proposed project extends from North Koeller Street to the Fox River.
The majority of the project will be constructed within the existing
waterway. Easements may be required from some properties for grading
and access during construction. See map of project location on the right.
Construction is tentatively scheduled for June to October 2012.
