***Important Policy Update: Permit Refunds in Oshkosh***
The Oshkosh Building Inspections Department announces an update to our
permit refund policy. Effective January 1st, we will no longer offer refunds for
any issued permits (Building, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing). This decision aligns
with our continuous efforts to streamline operations and ensure consistent
service delivery.
This policy change ensures that trade contractors operating within the City of
Oshkosh meet the same expectations as those in surrounding communities,
fostering uniformity and fairness across the region. By aligning our refund policy
with neighboring municipalities, we enhance regional consistency in permitting
processes.
