Tomasik is our new Transit Operations Manager. He comes to us from USF Holland

2. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
As per Municipal Code, Section 2-36, election of the chair and vice chairperson should be

Unless specifically modified elsewhere in this Code, the following provisions shall apply to all
boards or commissions of the City of Oshkosh:
(A) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained within this Municipal Code, terms
for all citizen advisory boards, cormnissions and committees, whether enumerated in this
Chapter or elsewhere in this Code, shall begin on June 1 and shall terminate on May 31 of
the respective year; except that the terms for Board of Review shall begin on May 1 and
shall terminate on April 30 of the respective year.
(H) Each board and commission shall elect from its membership a chairperson who shall
preside at all meetings and a vice chairperson who shall exercise the powers of
chairperson in the absence or disability of the chairperson. Each shall serve one-year
terms, until a successor is elected and qualified.
3. A REQUEST FOR AN ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBER
Please contact the Transit Advisory Board at TAB(o).ci.oshkosh.wi.us with any questions or concerns
TAB AGENDA ITEMS
June 2019
The mayor has asked that all Boards and Commissions consider whether alternate
members should be appointed to fill in when Board members are absent to insure a
quorum at all meetings.
4. UW -O RIDERSHIP
UW -Oshkosh discontinued their revenue agreement with GO Transit as of January 1,
2019. Since January 1s, the university has been purchasing passes and making them
available at no cost to their current students and faculty. Under the revenue agreement,
UW -0 paid GO Transit approximately $70-$80,000 a year. So far this year, UW -O has
purchased $32,790 in passes through May as shown in the attachment. I anticipate the
number of passes bought will decrease over the summer. It will be interesting to see how
the revenue compares.
