HomeMy WebLinkAbout16. 19-280 MAY 14, 2019 19-280 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 6-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT / CROSSFIT OSHKOSH / UTILIZE CITY STREETS AND SIDEWALKS FOR THE BODY ARMOR EVENT/MAY 27, 2019 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to CrossFit Oshkosh (Austin Phillips) to utilize City streets and sidewalks on: Jefferson St., E. Parkway Ave., Mount Vernon St., Washington Ave.,Broad St., and Merritt Ave. on Monday,May 27,2019,from 9:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m.for the Body Armor event in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City's actual costs for extraordinary services. Cost Estimates for Extraordinary Services Police Staffing $187.08 (preliminary estimate include 3 CSOs for 4 hr. each @ $15.59 /hr.)
