Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhoods engages neighborhood residents,empowers them to be leaders in
North Park managing neighborhood issues,and encourages them to participate fully in determining the future of their
NorthShore neighborhoods-
Our staff and volunteers work closely with resident leaders to:
River East ✓ Sponsor community building events where residents can meet,have fun,and build trust and social
Sacred Heart capital in the neighborhood-
✓ Sponsor special resident-led projects to improve physical conditions in the neighborhood-

✓ Provide technical assistance,tools,and resources to existing and emerging neighborhood associations-

in our partner neighborhoods-

2018 Community Impact I 2018 Accomplishments
✓ GO-HNI added a part-time Community Engagement Specialist in April,2018-Th is position will
ff" 16 Neighborhood Associations Supported allow for timely correspondence and quicker turnaround time for managing the CB&E fund.In
addition,GO-HNI will be able to have representation at as many Neighborhood Association

Community Building Events Held I meetings and events as possible.The monthly meetings of the Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhood
Alliance will be coordinated through this position and provides for greater attention to the
Neighborhood Association maintenance and development.

Resident leaders from four Neighborhood
Oshkosh Herald,Oshkosh Independent and the Oshkosh Northwestern all covered the
Associations participated in training announcement of a new Director of GO-HNI in June,2018-WOSH with Bob Burnell did a live
interview of the new director.
Oshkosh Herald ran a section on the Sawyer-Paine Neighborhood Association as it was formed in
One Real Estate Development Project Completed June 2018.
Oshkosh Herald and Oshkosh Independent picked up the announcement of the Rock The Block
partnership with GO-HNI,Habitat for Humanity and the City of Oshkosh.They also announced
— �- the Town Hall meetings and Octoberfestfundraiser.
✓ Facebook posts--The number of followers has increased to over 3,000 and GO-HNI has been
- more proactive with posts and responses.
✓ GO-HNI promoted healthy neighborhoods at the Oshkosh Farmers Market June,July,August,
September and October.
✓ GO-HNI presented at a June,Noon-Kiwanis meeting regarding GO-HNI activities
✓ GO-HNI helped coordinate the Oshkosh Neighborhood Night Out held August 7,2018 and
promoted the event with a flyer,on Facebook and the website.14 Neighborhood Block parties
were scheduled.

Hosted 10 Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhood Alliance
meetings; brought in 6 educational guest speakers
and had an average attendance of 16. BUDGET SOURCES
The CB&E program exceeded expectations as we
supported 131 neighborhood projects and events.
Branded the Sacred Heart and Lumber River ■Public Funding
Neighborhood Associations with new logos and ■Private Funding
revamped the River East logo to be used in a 62%
vector format.

Through a partnership with Menominee South, $299,037 Total
ONE Oshkosh and GO-HNI,a Great Neighborhoods
grant provided a refreshment of the Sea,Sand&
Sailorland playground at Menominee Park.

value in 2016 prior to the GO-HNI rehab was$85,500,the rehab ■Neighborhood
