AGENDA ITEMS
APRIL 9, 2019
NEW BUSINESS
1. A REQUEST FOR NO PARKING IN THE 300 WEST PARKING LOT STALLS 37-39
UNTIL 9 A.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY (CURRENT CONDITION: 2 HOUR
PARKING MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY)
This is a request from the Sanitation Department and Manila.
The waste disposal contractor that services the dumpster enclosures behind Manila is
having a hard time accessing the area to perform waste and recycling removal which
has resulted in an unsightly accumulation of trash at times.
2. PRESENTATION ON THE COMMUNITY MAPS CRASH APPLICATION BY RICK
OLIG, OF OLIG CONSULTING, LAW ENFORCEMENT LIAISON/CONSULTANT
FOR WISDOT
Over the last couple of years a few mapping applications have been developed to help
identify crash trends. This is one that the state of Wisconsin developed. These
applications use the data from the Wisconsin traffic operations and safety laboratory
which compiles the data from local law enforcement crash reports. This is the data I use
to compile the crash reports. In lieu of recreating these reports annually, I am looking at
some of these tools to report trends.
