HomeMy WebLinkAbout23. 19-113 FEBRUARY 26, 2019 19-113 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT / DUTRIRUN FOUNDATION / UTILIZE LEACH AMPHITHEATER, RIVERWALK & CITY STREETS FOR THE OSHKOSH HALF MARATHON &5K RUN/ APRIL 28, 2019 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to DuTriRun Foundation(Ben West) to utilize the Leach Amphitheater, Riverwalk, and City streets for the Oshkosh Half Marathon and 5K Run Half Marathon/5K Run Route: Court Street, High Avenue, Pearl Avenue, Summit Avenue, Arboretum Drive, River Mill Road, Marine Drive, Lake Butte Des Mortes Drive, Omro Road/Oshkosh Avenue, N. Eagle Street, Graham Street, Rainbow Drive, Wisconsin Street, Michigan Street, W. 61h Avenue, and S. Main Street on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City's actual costs for extraordinary services. Cost Estimates for Extraordinary Services Police Department Staffing $6,390.30 (preliminary estimate includes dedicated staffing of 36 officer hrs., 18 supervisor hrs., and 114 CSO hrs.)
