PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER CHANGES IN FIXED ROUTE AND PARATRANSIT FARES (CURRENT AND PROPOSED FARES ATTACHED) 2. SERVICE CHANGES TO ROUTE 9 (MAP ATTACHED) The Transit Development Plan (TDP) Steering Committee selected the Route 9 no cost option where the bus serves the outlet mall and industrial park every trip and deviates to Carl Traeger before and after school. Passengers wanting to go to the YMCA will need to tell the driver when they board. When a passenger wants to be picked up from the YMCA they will need to telephone the GO Transit office and request the deviation. The two Route 9 stops being eliminated with this proposal are as follows: • 20th Avenue at Westhaven Drive o 2017 Ridership -16 Boarding - 24 Alighting • 20th Avenue at Lennox Street o 2017 Ridership - 743 Boarding - 468 Alighting 3. APPROVAL OF TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN FINAL DRAFT The final draft of the Transit Development Plan will be presented by Nick Musson, of East Central Wisconsin Regional Plan Commission. This final draft of the TDP is the culmination of 2 years of work by the TDP Steering Committee. The plan will be used to guide the work of GO Transit for the next 5 to 8 years. The plan contains recommendations for technology, fares, marketing and Route 9 among other items. Once approved by the Transit Advisory Board and TDP Steering Committee, the plan will be presented to the Common Council for adoption. Please contact the Transit Advisory Board at TAB(dci.oshkosh.wi.us with any questions or concerns NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held during the GO Transit Advisory Board meeting on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 4:10 p.m. in Room SB2, Safety Building, 420 Jackson Street, for the purpose of considering GO Transit and GO Plus Paratransit Program fare changes. This project is subject to financial assistance from the United States Department of Transportation. A. At the hearing, the City of Oshkosh will afford the opportunity for interested persons and agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of the proposed project.
