HomeMy WebLinkAboutBID Manager Report-Sept18 BID Manager Report September 2018 Priorities for the Month: ■ Website design/content changes/additions/subtractions ■ Website training o Will need to manually move stuff over to new site (events & some page changes) ■ Secure more holiday parade sponsorships; sent out 2nd batch of letters ■ Weekly meeting with 2 BID interns ■ Promote holiday parade entry form ■ Secure banner sponsorships; spring & fall seasons open ■ Start holiday parade marketing materials ■ Wine Walk licenses &wine deliveries ■ Wine Walk goodie bags ■ Start 2019 budget prep ■ Holiday Parade email list for sponsorships, entries, &misc. ■ Change message on interchangeable sign ■ Featured gift card monthly merchant ■ Work with Stellar Blue on monthly social media calendar ■ Reconcile gift card account every Friday ■ Develop and send the monthly newsletter ■ Put all advertising medias in place for the month&invoiced businesses for reimbursement Committee Reports: Marketing Consortium ■ Put together the monthly agenda ■ Sent out prior minutes and agenda ■ Attended monthly meeting ■ Coordinating Trick or Treat barricades with Farmers Market ■ Attended Holiday meeting o Start ticket sale page for Breakfast with the Grinch Beautification &Retention ■ Mural grant ■ New banner sponsors-working with Wisconsin Herd on holiday banners ■ Downtown clean-up day:partnership with Boys & Girls Club (Sept) ■ 1 pending retention grant 0 Coordinating holiday decor;will test wreaths in mid Oct. Holiday Parade ■ Need sponsors ■ Held committee meeting ■ Secure misc.requests for parade ■ Reserve bleachers, cones, and porta-potty rentals ■ Met with Sgt. Stenson&Kathy for logistics RFG ■ Carrot&Kale paperwork completed;waiting on receipts ■ Met with 1 potential RFG candidate Other Highlights/Projects ■ Start to put together social media events for Whoville ■ Put together presentation for Rotary ■ Submitted grant application to WPS- for website funding
