PURPOSE: APPROVE OFFER TO PURCHASE SOUTHWEST INDUSTRIAL
PARK LAND TO HECTOR HINOJOSA; EAST OF 2900 ATLAS
AVENUE ($249,776.00)
INITIATED BY: HECTOR HINOJOSA
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the offer to
purchase submitted by Hector Hinojosa to acquire the vacant lot east of 2900 Atlas
Avenue, per the attached map, is hereby accepted and the proper officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute any and all documents necessary for purposes of
same.

RE: Approve Offer to Purchase Southwest Industrial Park Land to Hector Hinojosa,
Vacant Lot East of 2900 Atlas Avenue ($249,776)
BACKGROUND
The applicant submitted an Offer to Purchase 9.6 acre vacant lot in the City's Southwest
Industrial Park on the north side of Atlas Avenue, west of South Oakwood Road.
ANALYSIS
The applicant proposes to construct a new facility consistent with the City's Municipal Codes
and the Industrial Park Protective Covenants. The attached map identifies the 9.6 acre parcel.
The proposed purchase price would be $26,000 per acre, in accordance with current prices of
other parcels in the Southwest Industrial Park.
FISCAL IMPACT
This item has no impact on the adopted budget. The vacant land is currently owned by the City
and the sale of the land would result in a property value increase.
RECOMMENDATION
The Common Council approves and authorize staff to execute the Offer to Purchase.
