HomeMy WebLinkAbout31 .18-376 JULY 10, 2018 18-376 ORDINANCE FIRST READING (CARRIED LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: AUTHORIZE PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION FOR PICKART ESTATES, PHASE I; NORTH 3300 BLOCK OF WEST 9TH AVENUE (STAFF RECOMMENDS WAIVING THE RULES) INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AUTHORIZING PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION TO BE DONE BY THE CITY OF OSHKOSH WITHOUT SUBMITTING SAME FOR BIDS The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That construction and installation of street lighting on and along the following streets pursuant to a developer agreement approved by resolution adopted July 10, 2018, by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh is hereby authorized to be done directly by the appropriate departments of the City of Oshkosh, without submitting same for bids, according to the plans on file in the office of the City Engineer: Pauls Place, Marys Drive, Jimmys Drive and Roberts Drive SECTION 2. The City Manager shall keep an accurate account of the costs of said work including the necessary overhead expenses and upon completion of such work shall make a complete report thereof to the Common Council stating in detail the items of cost and the total cost of doing such work, all according to Section 62.15(14) of the Wisconsin Statutes; and upon completion of such work, the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to transfer necessary funds from the Special Assessments Improvement Fund to the appropriate construction accounts. Please take notice that the City of Oshkosh enacted ordinance #18-376 Authorizing Public Construction, on July 10, 2018. The ordinance allows for public construction and installation of street lighting on and along Pauls Place, Marys Drive, Jimmys Drive and Roberts Drive within the Pickart Estates Subdivision, Phase I in the City of Oshkosh.
