RE: Award Bid to U.S. Petroleum Equipment for Fuel Tank Replacement at Broad Street Lift
Station for Wastewater Division ($44,893.00)
BACKGROUND
The Common Council allocated $45,000.00 in the 2018 CIP for the replacement of the Broad Street Lift
Station underground fuel tank. The fuel tank is nearing the end of its normal useful service life. Diesel
generators have recently been replaced and need this fuel tank. This tank must remain underground for
security reasons, due to the location of the Broad Street Lift Station.
