Please read the following information and sign at the bottom to acknowledge that you have read
and agree to comply with these conditions.
All habitable rooms must be provided with 8% light and 3.5% ventilation. Bedrooms
located on the second floor or below ground level must be provlded with egress windows
in addition to the light and ventilation requirements. Basement windows are also
required to have window well areas ~n accordance with ILHP('2'I:'0~3~
Garage spaces shall be separated from the dwelling unit in accordance with ILHR 21.08.
The door and frame assembly between the dwelling unit and an attached garage shall be
labeled by an independent testing agency as having a minimum fire-resistive rating of 20
minutes. All drywall joints are required to be tape,sealed unless the joints are fitted so
that the gap is no more than a dimes thickness I 1/20-inch) and backed'by-'~li}l~C)b6d b~
drywall with the joints staggered.
All penetrations in exterior walls must be sealed prior to the insulation inspection. This
includes holes in the top and bottom pl~t~e~, ~ips
return air spaces.
Smoke detectors are required on every floor and within 6' of all bedrooms. Tli~ ~srnoke
detectors are required to be hardwired-b~n-~i~if~/5~e~[t~
Hydromassage tubs are required to have an access panel to motor. The access panel musl
be accessible without removing the finish of the house.
All overframing must be designed by the truss manufacturer, according to standards set
by the tress plate institute, or structural calculations must be provided prior to the rough
building inspection.

Truss plans including the tress layout must be provided bn site at the rdugh bdiidlng
inspection. In addition to the truss plans, microlam calculations must be provided on site
at .the rough building inspection for all microlams with point loads on them.
Calculations must be provided for all Cantilevered~flobrs with poiht 16ads.~ Flobr'//us~es
and TJI's must be designed for the cantilevered areas.

The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with ILHR 21.125
(Erosion Control). When installing access drives, a minimum of 2"-3" diameter stone is
required in addition to a minimum of 6" depth, 30'-50' length, and 14~-20~ width. Erosion
control measures must be mmnta~ett ug.t~,he rava4 ~s..~stabl~shed~' .-
All storm sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices. Tracking
(i.e. sediment) must be removed from the street at the end of each workday. Repair any
siltation or erosion damage to adjoining surfaces and drainageways resulting from land
development or disturbing activities.
The building placard must be posted on site at all times. Once the rough framing is up
the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If the placard is not
present at any inspection, stop work orders will be posted. Additional placards can be
obtained through our department if the cards are misplaced.
All mechanicals must be roughed in prior to requesting the rough building inspection [f
on the inspection the mechanicals are not roughed in, the inspection will fall and a $100
re-inspection fee will be charged.
Attached is a copy of the final inspection checklist. At the final inspection all items on
this list must be completed to avoid the $100 re-inspection fee per inspection.
When requesting final inspections please note that a minimum of 2 days notice is needed
from the time the inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in the center
of the garage floor and a minimum ora 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
the garage. At the final inspection no furniture or personal belongings are allowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are nor m be set in
place due to the electrical inspector needing to look at the power serving the appliances.
A 6' stepladder must be on site at the final inspection to provide access to the attic.
The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen window until
occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard having all of the
final inspection approved stickers on the backside. If occupancy occurs prior to the
inspections being approved daily citations will be issued with no further n%iqe b~ing
given.
17. All site grading must be done in accordance with the approved drainage plan on file in the
