Please read the following information and sign at the bottom to acknowledge that you have read
and agree to comply with these conditions.

All habitable rooms must be provided with 8% light and3.5%'ventilation. Bedrooms
located on the second floor or below ground level must be provided with egress windows
in addition to the light and ventilation requirements. Basement windows are also
required to have window well areas in accordance with ILHR 21.03.
Garage spaces shall be separated from the dwelling un/t in accordance with ILHR 21.08.
The door and frame assembly between the dwelling unit and an attached garage shall be
lhbeied by an ]fi~e~ende~i~ t~sfin~ a~encv as ha~ing a minimum fire-resistive rating'of 20
minutes. All drywall joints are required to be taped/sealed unless the joints are fitted so

All penetrations in exterior walls must be sealed prior to the insulation inspection. This
includes holes in the top and bottom plates, gaps around heating ducts, and holes in the
return air spaces.
Smoke detectors are required on every floor and within 5' of all bedrooms. The smoke
detectors are required to be hardwired and interconnected.
Hydromassage tubs are required to have an access panel to motor. The access panel must
be accessible without removing the finish of the house.
All overframing must be designed by the tress manufacturer, according to standards set
by the h~ass plate institute, or structural calculations must be provided prior to the rough
building mspection.
Truss plans must be submitted and approved prior to framing the roof.
Truss plans including the tress layout must be provided on site at the rough building
inspection. In addition to the truss plans, microlam calculations must be provided on site
at the rough building inspection for all microlams with point lbadS on them.
Calculationsmust be Provided for all cantfleW/:ed floors with-poih(ioa~'s. Floor tresses
and TJI'~ mh~t be designed for ~he cantilevered areas.

The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with ILHR 21.125 .:
(Erosion Control). When installing access drives, a minimum of 2"-3" diameter stone is
required in addltaon to a mmm3gm 0f,.6,_~d~ p , 30'-50' length, and 14'-20' width. Erosion

All storm sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices. Tracking
(i.e. sediment) must be removed from the street at the end of each work~gy. Repair any
siltation or erosion damage to adjo[rdng Surfaces and~dr~/g~'~Y~e~'~s~iing 'from land
development or ~s~rbing activities.
T!3e~ng placard must be posted on site at all times. Once the rough framing is up
the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If the placard is not
present at any inspection, stop work orders will be posted. Additiorml placards can be
obtained through our department if the cards are misplaced.
All mechanicals must be roughed in prior to requesting the ~ough building inspection. If
on the inspection th~em~_c~.als~e_n-°~[ r~oughed in, the inspection will fail and a $100
re-inspection fee ~4l!.b~esh~a[~ged.
Attached is a copy of the final inspection checklist. A~t~th9 fi~..aljnspection all items on
this li s~ ~ust be~ qompleted to avoid the $100 re-inspection fee per mspection.
When requesting final inspections please note that a mi~gf~,d~ys notice is needed
from the time the inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in the center
of the ghr~ge too} and a minimum of a 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
the garage. At the final inspection no fumit~ prpersonal belongings are allowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are not to be set in
place due to the electrical inspector needing to look at the power serving the appliances.

The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen window until
occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard having all of the
final inspection approved stickers on the backside. If occupancy occurs prio~ to the
inspections being approved daily citations will be issued with no further notice being
given.
All site grading must be done in accordan~ ?!thump approved drainage plan on file in the
public works office, 3rd floor.
