Rohloff, City Manager_ DATE: February 8, 2018 RE: Report of Public Works Construction Contract Change Orders Approved by City Manager in 2017 Section 12-8 (F) (1) of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that changes orders that are within the approved budget; less than $25,000;and less than 15% of the original contract amount can be approved by the City Manager. Change orders that do not meet any one of the above criteria require approval by the Common Council. During meetings in 2017, Council expressed an interest in receiving information about construction contract change orders that did not require approval by the Council. Attached to this memo is a list of change orders for construction contracts managed by the Department of Public Works that were approved by the City Manager in accordance with Section 12-8 (F) (1) of the Municipal Code.
