1.Call to Order
Mr.BellCorelli called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.
2.Approval of December 18,2017 Meeting Minutes
Mr.BellCorelli moved to approve December 18, 2017 meeting minutes and Mr.Stengel
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
3.Sidewalk Prioritization –Discussion or Action
Doctors Court-add curb cut to access Doctors Court for two intersections.
Washburn Street –Dickenson Avenue to 20th Avenue–Mr. Gohde will look into the
possibilities of this being a larger project to improve the shoulder.
Linwood Avenue –Walnut Street to Ontario Street
9th Avenue –Graceland Drive to Greenfield Trail
Jackson Street –W. Packer Avenue north to bus stop
Waukau Avenue –Washburn Street to apartment driveway before HWY 44
Algoma Boulevard –Cemetery Connection
Ms. Redlin made a motion to approve the above list of sidewalk priorities and Ms.
Panske second the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
4.BikeOsh 2018 –Discussion
Ms. Naudziunas explained that the committee needs to begin planning for the BikeOsh
event for 2018.The committee tentatively selected the date of May 5th for the event date.
Ms. Naudziunas is requesting additional help from volunteers or committee members
for this year’s event. She said that it would be preferred if someone else was responsible
for soliciting and collecting prizes. The committee decided to contact the Oshkosh Cycle
Club to see if they can offer any help.It will be hard to have the event this year without
additional support.
5.Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation Plan update –East Central Wisconsin Regional
Planning Commission
Ms. Naudziunas read through a series of facilities recommendations and definitions.
The committee reviewed the materials and offered their feedback.Ms. Naudziunas
explained the input would be provided to staff at East Central Regional Planning
Commission for edits.
6.Agenda Items for the Future Meeting(s)
The committee expressed an interest in keeping the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan
on the agenda.The committee is interested in an update on the sidewalk prioritizations.
7.Adjournment
Mr.BellCorelli moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms.Redlin seconded the motion.
Motion carried unanimously at 5:42 p.m.
