(+$358,339.75) BACKGROUND Change Order No. 1 for Contract 17-04 is scheduled for consideration by the Common Council at the August 22, 2017 meeting. The contract was originally awarded to Carl Bowers & Sons Construction Co., Inc. in February of 2017. In February, the storm sewer on Eveline Street failed, causing a sink hole. Upon review of the overall utility conditions on Eveline Street, an emergency was declared to replace the storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water mains. ANALYSIS Following is a summary of the significant changes to each section of the CIP: • Streets — additional quantities for the paving, sidewalk, driveways, and landscaping of Eveline Street.
