City Resolution No. 15'285' and Amendment 1 dated February 27. 2017, City Resolution No. 17'72. This amendment request iafor additional services completed to date and for continued monthly monitoring of the Landfill Gas (LFG) monitoring vve||a from April through December of2817. |naddition, the amendment provides recommended scope ofwork and estimated costs to complete additional site investigation and continued WDNR Interface. Observations (such as ground condition, barometric pressure, and monitoring well conditions) will also berecorded. Monthly labor costs toperform the monitoring are approximately$1'2GOper month. These costs include � the rental cftesting equipment. Please note mmhave been scheduling the sampling events 1ocoincide � with Knapp Street Quarries and Timmerman Landfill projects to eliminate multiple shipping ohergme' reduce rental fees for the monitoring equipment, and provide a single equipment charge for the use of an AEC{}K4truck and other field equipment. The total estimated cost for these additional services ie approximately$11,340. Additional Site Investigatiori Based on the neau|io of the site investigation previously completed, City staff requested that further site investigation becompleted e18GQVV. 17 m Avenue toverify the limits cfwaste onthe property. Specifically the location in respect tothe building foundation will be evaluated. AECOM proposes to subcontract with an excavation firm to complete test pits near the house. We will utilize the same contractor who completed previous teat pits at the site. We anticipate this work will be completed inone day. The estimated cost includes landscape restoration. AECOManticipates installing another set of nested landfill gas monitoring wells in close proximity tothe building foundation on the landfill property. These will be utilized as additional monitoring points for the dwelling as an indicator for LFG intrusion. The anticipated cost for this effort is $16,670 of which $9,450 is s u bcontract-related costs. INDNR Interface AECOk8will prepare eproject update for presentation tothe new VVDNRproject manogeroncethe additional site investigation is completed. We have conducted a site walk through with the new VVDNR engineer and public meeting for this project, neither nfwhich were included in the original scope of work. We anticipate conducting afo||nvv'up meeting with the VVONR manager to discuss the results and recommendations provided in the project update. In addition,TheVVDNR is now requiring thaVVONR Groundwater and Environmental Monitoring System (GEMS) data base be updated with the LFG monitoring results. The anticipated cost to provide these services through December, 2017 is $6,940. The GEMS database will be updated by Dan O'Connell and the project update will be prepared by Cliff Shierk and Paul Timm. The additional meetings with VVDNRwill be attended by Cliff Ghiark. and Paul Timm along with City staff.
