HomeMy WebLinkAbout24. 17-373 JULY 25, 2017 17-373 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT/REACH COUNSELING SERVICES AND CHRISTINE ANN DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES/UTILIZE CITY STREETS FOR THE TAKE BACK THE NIGHT EVENT / OCTOBER 18, 2017 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to Reach Counseling Services and Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services (Marianne Radley and Leslie Wartgow) to utilize City streets: Pearl Avenue,Division Street,Algoma Boulevard,Wisconsin Street, and Jackson Street,on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (actual event time 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)for the Take Back the Night event in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City's actual costs for extraordinary services.
