Oshkosh for Education Curb Appeal Project – Prioritize Bike Lanes – Action The follow is the recommended prioritized list of bike facility improvements based on staff research. 1. Oshkosh North High School – Smith Ave. – Bike Lane Linwood Ave. - nothing Vinland St. – Bike Lane Wisconsin St. – Bike Lane 2. Oaklawn Elementary School – Not in LMI N Main St. – Bike Lanes 3. Jefferson Elementary School – 10th Ave. - Sharrow Minnesota – Sharrow 4. Oshkosh West High School- Taft Avenue – Existing Bike Lanes N Westfield – nothing Southland Ave. – nothing N Eagle St – Bike Lane 5. Merrill Elementary School- W New York Avenue – planned for sharrow after construction Kentucky St.- nothing Central St. – nothing W. Custer Ave. – nothing 6. Read Elementary School – Algoma Blvd, Elmwood Ave and W New York Ave. – The committee has already prioritized this area. 7. Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation Plan update – Technical Assistance Award The Planning Services Division will be facilitating the Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation Plan update process in early winter 2017. Ms. Naudziunas would like to continue the discussion on the update. The City of Oshkosh has been awarded services through the Technical Assistance Program through the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.
