HomeMy WebLinkAbout13. 17-09 JANUARY 10, 2017 17-09 RESOLUTION (CARRIED___7-0____LOST________LAID OVER________WITHDRAWN________) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT / BATTLE ON BAGO FOUNDATION / UTILIZE MENOMINEE PARK FOR THE BATTLE ON BAGO ICE FISHING EVENT/ FEBRUARY 24 & 25, 2017 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to Battle on Bago Foundation (Glenn Curran) to utilize Menominee Park Millers Bay from Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 8:00 a.m. through Sunday, February 26, 2017, 8:00 p.m. (event times being Friday, February 24, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) for the Battle on Bago ice fishing event, in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. An exception to the provisions of 19-4(A)(3) and 17-42 of the City of Oshkosh Municipal Code is granted to allow amplified music until 11:00 p.m. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City’s actual costs for extraordinary services.
