LIMITATIONS:
Maximum Floor Loading: Undetermined Slab on Grade
Maximum number of persons: Per State Approved Plan
CONDITION: Occupancy is approved subject to completion of all
noted Electrical Issues within 30 days.
A new Certificate of Occupancy shall be required prior to
occupancy, should additional building(s) be erected, or should
any buildings mentioned above be altered or moved. The use of
land, or buildings, shall not be changed until a Certificate of
Occupancy is issued for that occupancy. All conditions noted
above must be complied with in order for this certificate to be

re: Block Iron Drainage Plan
I have reviewed your plan and it is approved with the foflowing conditions:
1. Please supply a revised plan showing curb head elevations at the driveway. The
driveway grade at the ROW line should be 2% higher than the top of curb head. An

the driveway.
2. Add a line on the drawing and a note to minimize drainage from the parking lot to
Oakwood Road.
3. Consider an 8" outfall pipe from Detention Basin A. There is an 8" diameter pipe
existing crossing Oakwood Road which appears to me will limit your outfall. I think
your proposed basin is adequately sized for the smaller outFall pipe. I also think you
should remove %z acre from this sub-basin and add %2 acre to area B. It looks to me
like the area west of the future building will drain north. No revision is required here
however.
4. For your future reference I have enclosed some notes I have been providing which
require a maximum runoff number of 78 for cropped lands and assumes good
conservation practices. No revised calcs are required because I am satisfied with
your end product.
5. Why did you include areas outside of the development in your submittal. In future
figure these additional areas pass through your site at the existing 10 year runoff rate

• COMM 53.23 Footings shall be placed below frost penetration depth, but not less than 42 inches below
adjacent grade.
• COMM 63.01 Prior to installation, lighting plans and calculations shall be prepared in comp liance with the
code and properly signed and sealed. The plans shall be available at the job site as requested by the Department
representative or local official.
• Submit, prior to installation, one (1) set of properly signed and sealed metal building plans, a completed SB-
11$ application form including this transaction number and signed by the building designer, and $100 submittal
fee to Safety & Buildings, P.O. Box 7162, Madison WI 5370'7-7162.
A copy of the approved nlans, specifications and this letter shall be on-site during construction and open to
inspechon by authorize� representatives of the Department, which may include local inspectors. All permits
required by the state or the local municipality shall be obtained prior to commencement of
c onstruction/installation/operation.
In granting this approval the Division of Safety & Buildings reserves the right to require chan es or additions
should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12�2), nothing in this
