HomeMy WebLinkAbout16. 16-429AUGUST 23, 2016 16 -429 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT / OSHKOSH BENEVOLENT & SOCIAL CLUB / UTILIZE THE RIVERWALK AND CITY STREETS FOR THE JEREMY MONNETT ROCK 'N' GLOW FUN RUN- WALK / OCTOBER 21, 2016 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to Oshkosh Benevolent and Social Club (Sean Fitzgerald) to utilize the Riverwalk and City Streets (Main Street, Sixth Street, Nebraska Avenue, Oregon Street, Marion Road, Pearl Avenue, Wisconsin Street, and Jackson Avenue) on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the Jeremy Monnett Rock'N' Glow Fun Run/Walk, in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions /conditions: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City's actual costs for extraordinary services.
