PURPOSE: APPROVE AMENDED SPECIAL EVENT / THE ALZHEIMER’S
ASSOCIATION OF GREATER WISCONSIN / UTILIZE UW-
OSHKOSH KOLF CENTER AND CITY STREETS FOR THEIR
ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S /
SEPTEMBER 18, 2016
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council previously approved The Alzheimer’s Association
of Greater Wisconsin to utilize UW-Oshkosh Kolf Center and City streets on Sunday,
September 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Wisconsin has amended the
date requested on the special event application. The correct date is September 18, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that approval is granted to The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Wisconsin
(Alicia Schram) to utilize UW-Oshkosh Kolf Center and City Streets (High Avenue,
Wisconsin Street, Witzel Avenue, and N. Campbell Road) on Sunday, September 18,
2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for their Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End
Alzheimer’s event in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with
the above date changes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer
shall pay the City’s actual costs for extraordinary services.
