BACKGROUND
The Department of Public Works requested a proposal from AECOM to provide construction-related services
associated with the construction of the North Main Street Area Wet Detention Basin-Fernau Watershed. These
construction-related services will include, but are not limited to: construction oversight, construction testing and
documentation, and preparation of as-built construction drawings. AECOM will also provide services related to any
civil or geotechnical engineering issues which may arise during the construction of the project.
ANALYSIS
AECOM was chosen due to their experience with the Fernau Watershed — North Main Street Area Wet Detention
Basin, and their vast experience in performing these types of services for the City.
FISCAL IMPACT
The proposed fee is not to exceed $267,229. Funding for these services is included in the Storm Water Utility
section of the 2016 Capital Improvement Program.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Chapter 12 of the Municipa/ Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that professional services of a specialized nature,
including engineering services, may be procured without the use of formal, sealed quotes. I have reviewed the
