The committee will review these requests and determine the priority of the improvements. 4.Strava Data Analysis – During the 2015 National Bike Challenge participants were able to record their route data via their mobile devices. The data was then compiled into a heat map. The committee has agreed to review the data available on the National Bike Challenge website. The data is shown on a map which reveals the routes that are used most frequently based on the intensity of the color on the street. This information may be relevant to updating the Bicycle and Pedestrian Circulation Plan. 5.Irving Bike Lane Workshop –Follow –up On April 12th 2016 the Traffic Review Advisory Board and the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee held a joint workshop in order to discuss the proposed bike lanes on Irving Avenue from Elmwood to Hazel with one side of parking removed. 6.Spring Bike Event During the October committee meeting, the committee expressed an interest in planning a bike event for National Bike Month. Ms. Naudziunas has compiled a list of potential partners for a spring biking event. At the November meeting, Ms. Naudziunas requested that two committee members volunteer to serve as spring bike event planning committee members. Mr. Bellcorelli and Ms.Redlin volunteered to participate. Ms. Naudziunas has invited a core group of stakeholders to attend the event planning committee meetings. The event planning committee has begun approaching potential partners for the event as well as finalizing an event date of May 21, 2016.
