HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem VI: Sustainability Plan Action Items 2016 October 2012 DraftCity of Oshkosh Implementation Schedule 2016 Sustainability Plan Action Plan DRAFT – March, 2016 Implementation Schedule for City of Oshkosh Sustainability Plan 2 INTRODUCTION The Sustainability Plan describes the activities and strategies the organization expects to implement over several years in order to sustain positive community results for the long term. In order to organize this work into manageable steps, an Implementation Plan must be developed for the 2013 Action Plan. An Implementation Plan describes the specific tasks, timing and persons/groups with lead responsibility for monitoring progress throughout the year. This plan is intended to be used as a management tool and is to be updated annually. IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE The Implementation Plan is organized according to goals established in the Sustainability Plan. For each section, activities to be acted on in the year covered by the implementation schedule are listed, followed by responsible entity, start and end dates, status, and continuing updates for each activity. UW-Oshkosh students will be completing a project to help guide residents on the process to establish a community garden in 2016. 3 Track progress with food co – op SAB 2012 On going Within two years the location should be secured. In 2014, group presented to SAB and is conducting feasibility study. SAB Chair participates in Mayor’s Board & Committee meetings and will continue to advocate for the establishment of a green team.
