RE: Amendment for Sanitary Collection System Flow Monitoring Services / ADS
Environmental Services, LLC (ADS) ($6,750)
The Department of Public Works authorized an agreement in June 2015 with ADS for $49,000
for sanitary collection system flow monitoring services. Due to the lack of rain events, these
services needed to continue for an additional 15 days to allow for data collection during wet
weather. The additional cost is $6,750, bringing the total agreement amount to $55,750.
ADS was chosen because of their knowledge of the City and vast experience with this type of
work. The cost of these services is estimated not to exceed $55,750, and will be funded
through the Sanitary Sewer Section of the 2016 Capital Improvements Program.
Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that professional services of
a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be procured without the use of formal,
sealed quotes. In accordance with Section 12-16 of the Code, I am hereby submitting this
report regarding this engineering services agreement.
Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this amendment.
