(+$137,554.26) BACKGROUND Change Order No. 1 for Contract 15-06 is scheduled for consideration by the Common Council at the January 12, 2016 meeting. The contract was originally awarded to Al Dix Concrete, Inc. in April of 2015. This change order is for final quantities and additional services provided. ANALYSIS Following is a summary of the significant changes to each section of the CIP/Operating Budget: • Sidewalk — Additional work for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for the relocation of the Hawk system at Sage Hall, additional ordered in sidewalk at West 20th Avenue and West South Park Avenue to allow the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to perform signal work, and additional requested sidewalk and driveway approaches throughout the City. • Water Utility Operating —Additional work and materials required to match field conditions. • Property Improvements —Additional work and materials were required to match field conditions at the George Washington monument; work at Teichmiller Park was added to this contract. • Park Improvements—Work at Algoma Park was added to this contract. The overage in the Sidewalk section of the 2015 CIP is all work for which the City will be reimbursed. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will be invoiced $9,621.16 for their portion and property owners will be billed for work done abutting their property. Funding for the George Washington Monument and Teichmiller Park portions of the project is available from the Great Neighborhood Initiative project in the Property Improvements section of the CIP. Funding for Algoma Park is available from the Park Improvements section of the 2015 CIP.
