WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City o£ Oshkosh held a public hearing on the lst day of August, 19"74 ut 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing a11 interested persons concerning the preliminary resolutions and reports of the City Manager (BOard o£ Public Worhs) on the oroaosed improvements consieting of the concrete paving with concrete curb and gutter and appurtenant work on the following street, all pursuant to Resolution #14 of June 6, 1974 of the Oshkosh Common Council: N.ARF:ET STREET - From High Aver.ue to Pearl Avenue NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh as follows: � 1. That the report of the City Manager, acting as the Board of Public Works, pertaining to the construction o£ the above described public improvements, including plans and specifications therefore, is hereby adopted and approved with the following modiEications: a. b. c. 2. That the action of the City Manager in advertising for bids and to ce,r.ry out the work o£ such improvements in accordance with the report of the City Manager and in accordance with the said resolutionts heretofore adopted, is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed. 3. That payment for said improvements be made by assessing the cost of the property benefited as indicated in said report, except as modified herein. 4. That the benefits�and damages shown on the report as modified are true and correct and are hereby confirmed. � 5. That the assessments for all projects included in said report are hereby combined as a single assessmevt but any interested property owner sha11 be entii:led to object to each assessment separately or both assessments jointly for any purpose or purposes. 6. That the assessments may be pai.d in cash, or ie installments pursuant to Section 25-83 thru 25-89 0£ the Oshkosh Municipal Code. Said deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of eight percent i3��i ��r ur,�.�ur. o.-, �he ur.pai3 '�=_1�rc.�. 'i'he �i*;, r1=rk _=r,all p,•bt ish an installment assessmer.t notice in accordance with Section 66.54 (7) (e) of the V:isconsin Statutes for 1969 in the official newspaper of the City. 7. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution in the o£ficial newspaper of the Citp, the OSf�COSH DAILY NORTHWESTERN. 6. Please eake notice ci.at the Cc�mc: Ceuncbl o£ the City c£ Oshkosh has declare3 its intention to exercise its power under Section o0.00, Wisconsin Statutes, to levy special assessments upon property for benefits conferred upon such property by providing paving and appurtenant improvements fronting upon that portion of the following named streets, to wit: P[ARKET STREET - High Avenue to Pearl Avenue The report of the City Engineer and City Manager showing proposed plans and specifications, estimated cost of improvements, proposed assessments and awards of damages is filed in my office and may be � inspected thereon any business day betcveen the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You are further notified that the City Manager (Board of Public Works) and City Council will hear all persons interested or their agents or attorneys concerning matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing awards of dau2ages at 7:00 p.m. on the .lst day of August, 1974, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Oshkosh, Sdisconsin.
